Wizards of WOS

We are locals & friends who frequent the "Road to WOS" in Summit Park and nearby trails of Park City, UT.

FUN FACT: WOS is an acronym harkening back to the previous existence of a rogue/unpermitted cabin built by locals on the saddle just below Summit Peak (8,618’). It was removed for fire safety reasons long before Basin Recreation's management. A sign hung over the door that read "Weather Observation Station” and it’s a core piece of neighborhood nostalgia. A real weather station never existed there, and the trail now bearing its name does not lead directly to the old site, but it is on the way!
